Overview

Selank is a synthetic analog of the naturally occurring immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin, developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It has been studied for anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), nootropic (cognitive-enhancing), and immunomodulatory properties. It is approved in Russia as a nasal spray for anxiety and neurasthenia.
