Research and Citation Policy

Verification Tiers

Every entry in our Research Library is grouped into one of two tiers:

• Verified Research: Title, authors, journal, year, evidence class, and DOI have been confirmed against public bibliographic records. These entries include a link to the original publication whenever available.
• Pending Verification: Entries whose metadata could not be fully confirmed, or whose DOI could not be verified, are placed here under owner review and clearly labeled.

What Tony AI May Cite

Tony AI may cite only entries in the Verified Research tier. Entries in Pending Verification are excluded from Tony AI citations until their metadata and source links are confirmed. Tony AI never fabricates a DOI or a citation.

Evidence Labeling

Where possible, sources are labeled by evidence type — human clinical, animal, laboratory, or review — so you can judge the strength of the underlying research. Tony AI is instructed to distinguish FDA-approved medications from investigational or experimental compounds.

Live Sources

For current-research questions, Tony AI may retrieve results live from public databases such as PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov. These are presented as external references with their source clearly identified.
